About Us

Personalised care from a highly skilled children’s physiotherapist.

Caring support and playful therapy with real results.

Lisa Bellamy is a highly skilled paediatric physiotherapist with 18 years’ experience supporting children of all ages — from premature babies to teenagers — across hospital, community, and educational settings in Australia and the UK.

With extensive training in developmental, neurological, and musculoskeletal conditions, Lisa provides thorough assessment and effective management strategies tailored to each child. Her clinical background spans neonatal and special care units, child development services, and advanced practice roles in orthopaedics and rheumatology within major tertiary hospitals.

Throughout her career, she has built deep expertise in neurology, oncology, rheumatology, orthopaedics, and neurosurgery, along with valuable experience working in both mainstream and special education environments.

Collaboration remains central to Lisa’s approach. She works closely with occupational therapists, speech pathologists, orthotists, paediatricians, and surgeons, ensuring each child receives coordinated, evidence-based care. By prioritising clear communication and teamwork, she helps children achieve the best possible outcomes.

EDUCATION & TEACHING

Lisa holds a Master of Advanced Paediatric Physiotherapy, giving her the expertise to deliver evidence-based, gold-standard care tailored to each child’s individual needs.

Beyond her clinical work, she has contributed to the profession as a practical tutor at The University of Queensland and has been actively involved in paediatric research. Her upcoming publications will add further insight to the field and continue to support best practice in children’s physiotherapy.

MY MISSION

My mission is to provide fun, effective  physiotherapy where and when suits your family.

I take time to listen to your goals and your child’s preferences, using a strengths-based approach that builds on what your child already does well. I believe in celebrating every achievement — being both realistic and optimistic about your child’s potential.

Children make their best progress when they’re having fun. I aim to create sessions with a “just-right challenge” — achievable yet motivating — and provide practical home activities that fit your family’s routine.

Throughout our journey, I’ll encourage open feedback and adapt your child’s program as they grow and change.
